1. The software and its licence

Vinyl Lettering Designer (the free plugin) and Vinyl Lettering Designer Pro are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+). Under that licence you may use, study, modify and redistribute the code, including for commercial purposes, as long as you pass the same freedoms on under the GPL. The full licence text ships with the plugins.

These terms do not restrict the freedoms the GPL gives you. They describe what you buy when you buy a Pro licence key.

2. What a Pro licence key gives you

A Pro licence key gives access to updates and support for the period you paid for. It is personal to the buyer and is not transferable. The number of sites a key can be activated on depends on the plan:

• Pro: 1 site.
• Business: 5 sites.
• Agency: unlimited sites.
• Lifetime: 1 site.

Without an active licence key, an installed Pro plugin keeps working, but you do not receive updates or support through the licence.

3. Plans, renewal and Lifetime

• Yearly plans (Pro, Business, Agency): one year of updates and support. The licence renews every year and you can cancel the renewal at any time. When you cancel, the running year is not refunded beyond the money-back guarantee below; you keep your updates and support until the end of that year.
• Lifetime: a one-time payment, with updates and support for as long as the product is maintained. Lifetime is limited to 50 licences.

Customers on the earlier subscription plans (Starter and Pro, monthly or yearly) keep their subscription until it ends or they cancel it.

4. Payments

Sales, payments and invoices are handled by our payment partner, which processes card payments through Stripe. Prices are listed in EUR. Whether VAT is added to a price, and how much, is shown at checkout before you pay. You receive your licence key and download link by e-mail after payment.

5. Money-back guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase. If the plugin does not meet your expectations, contact us within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it in full. Renewals and purchases after the first are not covered by the guarantee. Refund requests can be sent to [email protected].

6. Limitation of Liability

The plugin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the plugin, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the licence key in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the GPL or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

We may deactivate a licence key, and with it access to updates and support, if the key is shared or used on more sites than the plan allows. The code you already downloaded stays yours under the GPL. You can stop at any time by cancelling the renewal. No partial refunds are given for early termination outside the 14-day guarantee.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
