3. Sharing data with third parties

We share data only with the service providers below, and only as far as needed:

5. Cookies and measurement

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Nothing is measured before you choose. You can accept all, reject all, or choose per category. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

CategoryWhat it doesStored
NecessaryKeeps you logged in and remembers your cookie choice.Session cookie; your choice in your browser's local storage.
AnalyticsGoogle Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-E6MJL3T6ZC) measures visits and clicks on this site: page views, demo opens, downloads, plan selections and purchases. Our own statistics store the same kind of events with your IP address and browser type. A campaign cookie (utm_data, 30 days) remembers the UTM tags or Google click ID of the link you came from, so a later registration can be attributed.Google Analytics cookies, utm_data.
AdvertisingLets Google use the measurement for ad measurement (Google Ads imports from Google Analytics).Google advertising cookies.

Until you accept Analytics or Advertising, no Google script is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. The Consent Mode defaults (all storage denied) are set in the page so the tag respects your choice when it loads. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property. Google may process data in the United States under its own safeguards, see Google's privacy policy.

Opt out: choose Reject all in the banner or in Cookie settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can also delete cookies in your browser.

6. Designer Embed orders

This section applies to the people who send an order request through a website that shows the Designer Embed (a shop of one of our customers). The shop owner decides why the data is collected and is the controller. We are the processor, on the terms of the processor agreement. Ask the shop owner first about your data; we help the shop owner answer.

  • What: the name and e-mail address you type in, optionally a phone number and a message, your design and the production files made from it. The shop owner receives them by e-mail and in a dashboard; you receive a confirmation e-mail.
  • IP address: we do not store it with the order. We keep only an irreversible hash of it, to limit abuse. Rate-limit counters are deleted after two days.
  • Retention: orders and their files are deleted after 180 days. Files that were uploaded but never became an order are deleted after 24 hours.
  • Providers: Railway, Inc. (a US-based cloud platform; hosting of the application, the database and the stored files, in the EU region europe-west4, the Netherlands), Cloudflare (network) and Resend (e-mail).
  • Cookies: the embedded designer does not set cookies and does not send credentials with its requests.
  • Browser storage: the designer saves your work in progress in your browser's local storage (a key starting with vst-saved-design-), so you can come back to it, and remembers that you closed the introduction (vst-onboarding-done). This stays in your browser; it is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
